This policy explains what information DrilByte ("we", "us") collects when you use drilbyte.com, the mining app at dril.drilbyte.com and related services, and how we use it.
Information we collect
- Account information: when you sign in with X (Twitter), we receive your X user ID, username and basic profile details that X shares with us.
- Wallet address: the address you choose to receive DRBY.
- Mining and referral data: your mining sessions, balances, claims, and who invited you or whom you invited.
- Identity verification (KYC): when you claim, verification is carried out by Didit (didit.me), a third-party identity verification provider. Didit collects what is needed to verify you, such as your ID document, a selfie or liveness check, face matching, and device and IP information, and sends us the result. We do not store your ID documents ourselves: we keep your verification status and a session reference. Didit processes your data under its own privacy policy, which we encourage you to read. We also use Didit's duplicate and fraud checks to enforce one account per person.
- Technical data: IP address, device and browser information, used for security and to prevent abuse such as multiple accounts.
- Analytics: we use Google Analytics to understand how the website is used.
How we use information
To run the mining app and calculate rewards, to verify eligibility and send DRBY, to prevent fraud and abuse, to secure our services, to improve the website, and to comply with legal obligations.
Sharing
We share information only with service providers who help us operate (for example hosting, analytics and KYC verification), when required by law, or to protect our rights and users. We do not sell your personal information.
Blockchain data is public
When DRBY is sent to your wallet, the transaction is recorded on the public DrilByte blockchain. This information is visible to everyone and cannot be deleted or altered by us.
Retention
We keep information only as long as needed for the purposes above and to meet legal requirements, then delete or anonymize it.
Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct or delete your personal information, or to object to certain uses. Contact us at the address below to make a request. Deleting your data may mean you can no longer mine or claim.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information, but no system is completely secure.
Children
Our services are for people aged 18 or over. We do not knowingly collect information from minors.
Changes
We may update this policy. The effective date above will change when we do.
